HI! I’m Megan

This is the part where I introduce myself and explain why there is a chicken on my website’s homepage. I currently live in Georgia, about 25 minutes out side of Atlanta. I have a husband named Austin, who has been on three reality TV shows and catches hawks with his bare hands. Just kidding, he only caught a hawk once (click for proof). We have a small, urban homestead equipped with two dogs, sixteen chickens, a colony of bees, multiple raised garden beds, and too many indoor plants to count. We have been renovating our house, doing most of the work ourselves, for the past few years. Our dream is to have a full blown hobby farm and to live as sustainably as possible.
